Oderint - Self - God Proclamation. Review.

The beginning of 2026 saw a flood of great Black Metal releases – Mayhem, Misotheist, Diabolus, Mecum Semperterne!, and Warsaw's Oderint (Poland).

Oderint's debut EP blew me away. The first thing that stands out is the fantastic vocals and the excellent drummer. The drums sound very natural and powerful, and the vocals are masterful; Polish Black Metal hasn't been this fresh in a long time. Amidst the flood of blandness, Oderint's vocalist rises above the established formula of this musical genre. The album clocks in at just over 18 minutes, and it's an 18-minute Black Metal blizzard that I'll be returning to often with great pleasure. While I wait for the full album, I wish the guys from Oderint the best of luck on their Black Metal journey.
